There are two power sources for the new 2026 BMW XM, which relies on a 4.4-liter BMW M TwinPower Turbo V8 engine and a high-performance electric motor. The plug-in hybrid powertrain for the XM Label generates 738 horsepower. The XM Label is now the sole model, and AC charging speed improves from 7.4 kW to 11 kW. M xDrive intelligent all-wheel drive optimizes handling while harnessing next-level performance. The XM is equipped with M Sport brakes that provide performance-level stopping power on the Seaside Freeway and Ocean Blvd. through Long Beach. Additional XM performance-enhancing features include an M Sport Differential and an Adaptive M Suspension Differential.
