Exterior Design
Embodying power and prestige, the BMW X6 has a chiseled profile and coupe-like roofline, along with a wide stance and horizontal contours. In addition to an illuminated kidney grille featuring full LED headlights and exhaust finishers, there are optional 22-inch Jet Black wheels and multiple bi-color wheel designs larger than 20 inches. The 20-inch star-spoke bi-color wheels are standard.
Interior Design
Curved and crystal-clear, the new BMW Curved Display adds a dash of elegance to the X6's cabin, which includes a panoramic moonroof, multi-color adjustable ambient lighting, multi-stage heated front seats, multi-zone Climate Control, and a leather-wrapped, multi-function sport steering wheel with three spokes. Add glass controls and Tacora Red Sensafin upholstery to this BMW SAC, which offers extended Merino Leather in multiple shades for nine upholstery options in total. This two-row crossover seats five passengers and can stretch from 27 to 60 cubic feet of cargo space, which is plenty of room to bring chairs and a cooler for an evening at the Long Beach Jazz Festival.
Performance
Relying on BMW TwinPower Turbo engines, starting with a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-6 engine enhanced with 48-volt mild-hybrid technology, the BMW X6 produces 375 horsepower and 398 pound-feet of torque. The 4.4-liter turbocharged V8 engine in the M60i generates 523 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque, while the X6 maxes out at 617 horsepower with the M Competition model.
BMW's intelligent all-wheel drive system, xDrive, is standard for the X6, which is rated for 23/26 (city/highway) miles per gallon and comes with an 8-speed Sport Automatic Transmission for precise shifting on the Pacific Coast Highway.
Technology
Joining forces within the BMW Curved Display, the 14.9-inch Central Information Display and 12.3-inch Digital Instrument Cluster give Long Beach BMW X6 owners up-to-date information and entertainment access.
