BMW Road Home Sales Event now through January 2nd! View Specials
There's no denying that BMW enthusiasts have many ways of expressing their passion for the German automaker. That's shown to be the case in the re-modeled BMW 507 that was previously owned by none other than Elvis Presley!
As shown on "Top Gear," the BMW 507 has been restored to its original image from all the way back in 1957. While serving in the Army, Elvis took the two-door sports car for a test drive and fell in love with it right away. Who could blame him?
After being sold to space engineer Jack Castor, BMW jumped at the chance to re-acquire the iconic sports car. Of course, BMW couldn't resist such an incredible chance to restore a classic sports car!
BMW's classic department went to work in an effort to return the 507 to its like-new condition. The BMW 507 was dismantled and completely rebuilt from top to bottom while a 3.2-liter V8 engine was reconditioned to its original specs.
Finally, the BMW 507 was spray painted in classic "Feather White" to return to its original glory and the car Elvis fell in love with 60 years ago!
While we can't promise the BMW 507, we do offer a wide range of high-performance new BMW models at Long Beach BMW. Make sure to visit our Signal Hill, CA showroom to take your test drive today!
