The Countdown to Spring Begins as We Get Our First Glimpse of the BMW M2

But not because winter is cold and no fun... but because we really, really, really want this car.

The 3.0L twin-turbo six-cylinder engine in this miniature beast creates a thrilling 365 horsepower and 343 pound-feet of torque, and pairs well to both its standard six-speed manual transmission and its available seven-speed automatic. The top speed is electronically limited to 155 mpg, and the 2016 BMW M2 coupe sprints from 0 to 60 in a breathtaking 4.2 seconds when equipped with the automatic.

And now you really want this car too, right?

Thought so. Unfortunately we won't be seeing the new M2 joining our new BMW lineup until next year. But it's only a few more months... of pure, terrible waiting agony.
